FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

DO YOU TAKE INSURANCE?

We do not accept insurance and Medicare. However, depending on your coverage, you may be able to submit for reimbursement through your insurance company for out-of-network claims.

The level of reimbursement will vary depending on your specific policy, and in some cases, insurance may not reimburse you at all. If you chose to submit the claims yourself, we will provide the necessary documentation (aka – “Superbill”) required by your insurance company.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE?

We accept all major credit cards, checks and cash. We also accept health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA).

WILL I NEED A PRESCRIPTION FOR PHYSICAL THERAPY?

No.

In NY, physical therapy can be initiated immediately (if medically appropriate) without a prescription. If your condition requires more than 10 treatment sessions or exceeds 30 days, then a prescription from a physician will be necessary. You may also be referred to a physician for further testing if it is deemed necessary after your initial physical therapy evaluation.

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM THE INITIAL EVALUATION?

Your initial evaluation will take approximately 1 hour. Be prepared and dressed to move. During this time we will review your medical history, assess your strength and movement qualities and determine the right plan for you.
